When do classes start?
Most programs begin every Monday with the exception of beginners classes that start the first Monday of each month and other specially designed classes that follow a separate schedule.

Do you offer classes for all levels?

Yes, we offer the six levels of courses based on the CFCRL levels, from beginner level through advanced.

Which course for my level?

You can test your knowledge of the language by taking the online level quiz on our website. If you are in Montpellier, you can always stop by MILI and have one of our team members test your level.

What happens if the level I am assigned is too hard for me?
At MILI, we take care of you: first you test one of our online tests and then we do a quick oral confirmation exam at MILI upon your arrival or on your first day at MILI. Finally, we monitor closely your progression to ensure that you are meeting your learning objectives in order to move on to the next level.

How long does it take to progress in my level?
This will depend on how fast you learn ! Basically, it will depend on:

Your level of French/English/Spanish before the class
The course you choose (based on your test results)
The duration of your course (2 weeks or 6 months will not give you the same results)
Your language learning abilities
Your personal motivation to learn. We teach, you do the rest!

I need to buy a textbook?

Yes, you do or you should. MILI will refer you to the textbook that has been selectioned by our French, English and Spanish teachers for your class and your level.

Does MILI offer any activities apart from language courses?

Yes, we do. This is specially designed for our intensive programs with classes in the morning, activities in the afternoon. We offer various cultural and recreational activities that vary every day and every week. We also work closely with the Office of Tourism and of course Jeremy, he knows everything in and around Montpellier. We put together great activities programs. The cost is between 5€ and 30€ depending of the activity and how far it is from town (need to get transportation etc...). We also have free activities! Just ask!

How long in advance do I need to enroll?
You need to BOOK NOW or at least 3 weeks before the start of the course.

How do I pay for my tuition?
Payments are made online when you enroll or by cash or check in euros, bank transfer and credit cards, Visa or Mastercard.

Do I need insurance before coming to MILI?
Absolutely. You need proof of insurance upon arrival to cover personal liability, medical expenses, sickness, accident and injury, repatriation, loss or theft of luggage and valuables. For European citizens, you can request the European insurance card.

How do I get to Montpellier?

Montpellier has an international airport 20 minutes away from the center of town that offers a large number of flights every day from various European cities. Most international flights will go to Paris then you can get a connection to Montpellier (1 hour flight). Montpellier also has a train station (TGV) conveniently located in the center of town (3.5 hours from Paris) as well as bus transportations that travel from/to major French cities. Do I need a visa to come to France at MILI?
